Gwenith and Gilbert love apples! Lately they don't want to share, I can't slice them, and they want the whole apple! I usually buy big granny smith apples. Well at the store it dawned on me that I should not buy the big ones. I should buy the small ones. They were the same price. I will be able to buy a couple more for about the same price. Plus Gwen and Gilbert will be able to eat most of it, so there would be no waste. Well there is usually no waste, for I usually eat what is left of the apple. I just got a laugh at how not smart I can be at time.

I could hear Gwenith and Gilbert talking in their bedroom, so I went up stairs to tell Gwenith and Gilbert it is time to be quite and to close their eye. I open the door and there is no Gwen in her bed. I looked over at Gilbert's bed and there they are both under the covers. I told Gwen she is suppose to sleep in her bed. She got out of the bed and with her lip puckered out said "mommy I sleep with Gilbert in his bed". I couldn't say no to that. So I told her she should but they had to close their eyes and go to sleep, no talking, no playing. It has been ten minutes and I have not heard anything. If they are still together in about an hour I will have to take a picture and share it with you all

I am back!

Hey everyone. I am doing good. Sorry I was gone for so long. I had something major go on in my life. I don't really want to talk about it. Maybe in a year or two, or maybe never. It is just something I am going to be dealing with for awhile. But for now I will just keep it within my family.

I will start posting like normal tomorrow.

now I off to read some blogs, and bring back some normalcy back to my life.

Dishes

If you remember the post where I announced to the the blogging world that I hate to do the dishes, I might have found a solution, well kind of.

Lately every time I open up the dishwasher to unload the dishes Gwen and Gilbert say "me help". Then they start to help me unload the dishwasher. They are so very helpful. It is very cute and funny. They know where all the dishes go and I have never told them where. It is amazing how observant they are.

Date: June 6, 1996

This is the day I graduated from High school. I can't believe it has been almost 13 years! I swear it was just a couple of years ago. But when I think about it, yea it has been 13 years.

The two people in the pictures were my two best friends in the whole world. We did almost everything together, then I went off to college. I wish that we were still as close as we were back then. I tried to stay in touch, but Stephanie was to busy. Heather and I talk once in a blue moon. I am very glad we still email each other, that is very nice.

I found these count down today while I was playing on the computer when I was suppose to be cleaning the house. Gwen and Gilbert actually are taking a nap today!! So I better get off this thing and do the dishes. Who knows maybe Sam will come home to a semi clean house today?!?!

what we did for Valentine's Day

On Friday Gwen and Gilbert made Valentine's bag. All I did was cut out the hearts. They picked out the colors they wanted and told me what size to cut them. They did the glue -sticks- and the placements. I might have turned some hearts so they were look a little nicer.

Sam and I put candy in them and gave the bags to Gwen and Gilbert Valentine's Day morning (from us).

We had planned to go the park and the beach but the weather was not good so we went bowling instead.

We had a blast blowing! Gwen and Gilbert had a fun time but they were getting bored by the 7th frame so we hurried things along (Sam and I started to bowl for them). We then went out for lunch and then home for naps. I made Sam strawberries dipped in chocolate. Sam gave me a rose plant. The rest of our evening was at home spending time as a family.

phone call about double seat shopping carts

I can't believe it, I just got a phone call from the commissary saying they got my letter and they have ordered new double shopping carts!!! They did not say what type of double shopping carts though. I can only hope for the double seat shopping carts like the ones Costco has, but you know what whatever ones they got will be good because they need them!! I am happy they heard me and took some action to resolve the situation. They did say that they did not know when the carts would be in.

I am so exciting. I can't believe I am excited for new carts oh well that is my life, and I am happy with it.
