I will not be posting anything tomorrow because I will be on I-15 all day! Please pray that G&G will make this road trip bearable! 11 hours stuck in the car here we come!

Sam's mom came into this weekend to visit us. It was a really good visit. G&G got to meet their Grandma for the 2nd time. Gwen was so much better with her this time around. I am glad she is getting use to other people in her life. I will post some pictures later, when I get to my mom's house.

glory of being a mom

I went to go check on G&G after they have been in their room for an hour and a half and I could steal hear talking. I walked in there and there was this horrible smell!!! I saw a baby in Gilbert's bed butt naked! I looked over in Gwen's bed and there was Gilbert! I checked his butt . . . poppy! I changed him. but the smell was still there. so I looked around Gilbert (in Gwen's bed) no poop fell out. I looked over at the sleeping baby, Gwen. I don't see anything. I looked over by the closet, yep there is the smell, poop! I clean that up then headed over to the sleeping baby yep it was her she had poop all down her leg. so I grab tons of baby wipes and cleaned her up, put on a new diaper all while she is still sleeping!


**edit** while I was typing this Gilbert has decide that even though Gwen had only been a sleep for about a half hour it was time for her to wake up!!! So since G&G were a wake I stripped Gilbert's bed. I had not notice, in the dark, that it has pooped smeared on it when! I put Gilbert is his bed and put Gwen in hers. It been ten minutes and I have not heard them so I am crossing my fingers that they are both a sleep!!!

I woke up this morning to a whimpering. I went to go see what was going on. Gwen was on the floor (Gilbert was a sleep in his bed) making a whimpering sound. I went over to her to see what was going on. She had gotten a hold of a sippy taken off the lid and had put her hand in the cup and could not get it out!! It took me a couple of tries to get it out up we got it out. It was weird I stayed calm I knew exactly what to do. Now I just laugh at what happened. I wish I would have taken a picture up at the time I could think about was taking the cup off her hand.

potty!

Gwen sat on the potty tonight! I am so excited! For those of you that don't know Gwen would not set on the potty if the lid was up (only if it was closed). Well tonight when I asked Gilbert if he needed to go to the potty he said yes and Gwen started to yell. I told her she did not have to go if she did not want to. We all went into the bathroom to encourage Gilbert to go and after he was done Gwen went over to her potty, opened the lid and sat! Trust me I made a very big deal about her sitting. I clapped and hands, smiled really big and told how well she was doing! She tried really hard to go pee but unfortunately nothing came, but was ok because she kept on trying. We sat there for a good ten minutes until Gwen wanted to leave. So we left and she pulled her potty into the TV room. So we sat (Gwen sat on her potty) and watch Elmo's potty time (G&G really loves that DVD). We did that for another ten minutes. But Gwen never went I told her it was ok and they we would try again in the morning. I am so excited that Gwen is finally ready to start potty training. The only bad thing is I have no idea how to do it. I guess I really have to start looking up info on it.

24 hours

ok yesterday about this time Sam gets a phone call saying he is on 24 hours notice that his ship might go out to sea. They were suppose to be inport this week! Well here it is 2:30 in the afternoon and we still don't know what the heck is going on!!!!! Sam packed his bag last night so if they do end up going out at least he is some what prepared. We never did go get longjohns for him. I just hope he says warm!


**edit** incase you wanted to know Sam never did go out!!!! Just hated the idea that he could have. These 24 hours notices sucks!

sleeping

Here is a very cute picture of Gwen and Gilbert sleeping. I have been putting them to nap at around 11 every day. Most days they play any where from a half to and hour before falling a sleep in their own beds. Today they were a sleep with in 20 minute (after playing of course). I went to check in on them and they were both in the same bed! They were like this this morning too but in Gilbert's bed. Right now they are in Gwen's bed.

tour of my house

Because Sam is away I have been cleaning to keep busy. Because my house is clean I want to show it off. So you all are going on a tour. I would show you all a picture of my entry way but I did not think to take a picture of that so you all just appear in my house, lol. Here is my front room. (by the way if you click on the pictures they will enlarge) From my front room you should go into the dinning room Now we shall go into the kitchen Now we go into the TV room / family room. A look down the hall (the front door is there too) and now into the half bathroom Oh wait I forgot to show you my "office" and the utility room. Both of those room are by the family room. Now lets go up stairs (no picture sorry) and into my bedroom. that was the master bath.
