I am going to keep this very short.
After a 13 hour drive I am back here in San Diego. I drove all day yesterday by myself with Gwen and Gilbert. We stopped about every two hours to have potty breaks and to have lunch and dinner. G&G did very well. I am so lucky to have two wonderful children!!!!!!!!!!

You are amazing! We didn't get back to Iowa to visit the in-laws this year for Christmas because we were too scared to make the 10-hour drive with the babies. I'd be terrified to do it by myself!

It sure did feel like 13 years but it was only 13 hours
That is awesome. Your children did very well! When we had our roadtrip to CA late last year, our son started screaming after about 3.5 hours. Then he continued to cry and wanted out of his carseat every other hour! It was a very, very long trip indeed.
