Mormon Battalion

Today we went to a celebration for the Mormon battalion, for on this day 161 years ago (1847) they arrived here in San Diego after a march of 1,900 miles from Iowa. this is a good website about the history if you would like to know more http://www.mormonbattalion.com/ & http://www.three-peaks.net/battalion.htm.
