just to let you all know I will not be on for a little while due to something that has happened

Dishes

If you remember the post where I announced to the the blogging world that I hate to do the dishes, I might have found a solution, well kind of.

Lately every time I open up the dishwasher to unload the dishes Gwen and Gilbert say "me help". Then they start to help me unload the dishwasher. They are so very helpful. It is very cute and funny. They know where all the dishes go and I have never told them where. It is amazing how observant they are.

Date: June 6, 1996

This is the day I graduated from High school. I can't believe it has been almost 13 years! I swear it was just a couple of years ago. But when I think about it, yea it has been 13 years.

The two people in the pictures were my two best friends in the whole world. We did almost everything together, then I went off to college. I wish that we were still as close as we were back then. I tried to stay in touch, but Stephanie was to busy. Heather and I talk once in a blue moon. I am very glad we still email each other, that is very nice.

I found these count down today while I was playing on the computer when I was suppose to be cleaning the house. Gwen and Gilbert actually are taking a nap today!! So I better get off this thing and do the dishes. Who knows maybe Sam will come home to a semi clean house today?!?!

what we did for Valentine's Day

On Friday Gwen and Gilbert made Valentine's bag. All I did was cut out the hearts. They picked out the colors they wanted and told me what size to cut them. They did the glue -sticks- and the placements. I might have turned some hearts so they were look a little nicer.

Sam and I put candy in them and gave the bags to Gwen and Gilbert Valentine's Day morning (from us).

We had planned to go the park and the beach but the weather was not good so we went bowling instead.

We had a blast blowing! Gwen and Gilbert had a fun time but they were getting bored by the 7th frame so we hurried things along (Sam and I started to bowl for them). We then went out for lunch and then home for naps. I made Sam strawberries dipped in chocolate. Sam gave me a rose plant. The rest of our evening was at home spending time as a family.

phone call about double seat shopping carts

I can't believe it, I just got a phone call from the commissary saying they got my letter and they have ordered new double shopping carts!!! They did not say what type of double shopping carts though. I can only hope for the double seat shopping carts like the ones Costco has, but you know what whatever ones they got will be good because they need them!! I am happy they heard me and took some action to resolve the situation. They did say that they did not know when the carts would be in.

I am so exciting. I can't believe I am excited for new carts oh well that is my life, and I am happy with it.

Twins' Age: 7 months

These pictures of Gwen and Gilbert chilling in there exersaucers. They loved those things. I could put Gwen and Gilbert in them and do what ever I need to do and be able to get it done. They would be fine and happy playing with the things in front of them. I wish I could still put them in there some days and know they will stay in them so I could get things done a round here.

I wanted to do a Valentine's picture but the last two years I just happen not to take a picture on that day! oh well, I will this year!

Wii

Gwen and Gilbert were on one today, it was 10 o'clock and I need to dress for the day. Gwen had pulled out the controllers for the Wii. She and Gilbert wanted to play. I usually just let them play with the controllers but because I was planning to go grocery shopping I wanted to do my hair and makeup. I needed something to keep their attention and a movie today was just not doing it. So I decided hey why not let they play Wii. I put in Wii sport and put it on bowling. That did not work. They could not figure out how to throw the ball, you need to hold down the B button and release it when you want to throw the ball. Even after I tried to show them how it they just did not understand. Then it dawned on me that baseball you did not need to hold down any buttons so I changed the game to from bowling to baseball. That did it! They loved it. Of course they did not really get how to play it fully but they loved to swing the controller and either the the mii (person) threw the ball or the mii swing the bat. It was very cute to watch them play the game.

weather

It has been raining here for about four days now. It was coming down really hard earlier today. I was going to take a picture of the sky but it was just gray, full of rain.

I wish these pictures would have turned out better showing the rain drops. They were enormous! Plus the wind was a blowing so the water was going up hill!

I open the window so we could smell the rain, I love that smell! Gwen and Gilbert thought that was the best thing ever

I found my camera!

These pictures are from this past Saturday. It was so nice and warm here that after we cleaned the garage we decide to go to the beach. We thought it would be to cold to go in the water, but we were wrong. The water was a little cold but really not that bad. Since we did not bring our swimming suits we just waded. Gwen and Gilbert had a blast. It's funny because a little less then a year ago Gwen hated the beach, she hated the sand and the water but this time she was having so much fun. She would chase the water. Gilbert quickly joined her. But at the end of the day he was enjoying writing in the sand.
